Washington Bus Garage - Washington, PA (March 2026 - Present)

We’ve been working for two different contractors on this one so far. Most of the work has involved compression testing for grout, along with pull testing on soil nail anchors. Currently, our crew gets called out here at least twice a week, and while that may not sound like much to some, when we do work, it’s hard work. And someone’s got to do it, so it might as well be us.

Cast Iron Bridge, Brownsville - High Street, Brownsville PA (November 2024 - Present)

It’s the first cast iron bridge built in America, and we’ve been called in to help save it. So far, most of our job has been to test the concrete needed to rehabilitate this bridge. As you may know, concrete testing is not anything out of the ordinary for us, but it’s for a historic bridge that’s deserving of the repetition. We would have posted about it here sooner, but we didn’t have any cool pictures to go with the story until now.

Fern Hollow Road Slide - Fern Hollow Road, Sewickley PA (December 2025)

We have only been to this job a few times so far, and from the looks of things, our part in this project may even be complete. It’s been a good run so far, with most of the work involving grout testing and soil nail anchors. We’re hoping there is a chance we will be back soon, but either way, it was good work to have while it lasted.

Hampton Township Water Pollution Control Facility, Allison Park PA (2022 - 2025)

When we started in December of 2022, our team was hard at work testing concrete on this project. Many of the concrete placements exceeded 200 yards in material, making it one of- if not, the largest wastewater treatment job we’ve done so far.
